Factory Audit Interpreting for Chinese Audit Teams

In CCC certification audits, supplier audits by Chinese customers and periodic surveillance visits, communication between the auditor and the plant team is handled one to one.

Manufacturers supplying the Chinese market or operating within the supply chain of a Chinese group regularly host audit teams from China. These audits usually last two to three days and consist of an opening meeting, a production line tour, document and record review, employee interviews and a closing meeting.

Any loss of meaning between the auditor’s question and the plant team’s answer can end up in the report as a finding. Interpreting is therefore treated not merely as language transfer but as a process grounded in the audit flow and quality terminology.

The service covers official audits by Chinese certification bodies such as CCAP (China Certification Centre for Automotive Products), most notably factory inspections under CCC (China Compulsory Certification), as well as supplier audits by Chinese customers. Seven years of serving as official interpreter in annual CCAP audits in the automotive supply industry form the experience base of this service.

Before the audit, terminology is prepared from the plant’s quality manual, procedures and previous audit reports. The service is provided on site at industrial plants in Bursa and the Marmara Region, and across Türkiye with advance planning.
